Another precious recording of Alfred Cortot - Chopin's Nocturne in E Flat Major No.2, one of Chopin's best known compositions. Recorded Two days earlier than the Previous Waltz recording - March 19th, 1929. Cortot's interpretation is just great...I can't even find a word to explain this touching emotion, even in the Webster Dictionary..

Enrico Caruso Sings a beautiful song named "Mattinata", composed by Ruggiero Leoncavallo and dedicated to Caruso. Recorded in 1903 for Gramophone & Typewriter Company.
This record is the oldest pressing which I have in my collection. This is the Very first Original G&T Pressing from C. 1905. Still, the sound quality is pretty nice.
Played on my Victrola with Mica Soundbox.

Bing Crosby, Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall sings "Bold Fisherman" for Bing Crosby's Chesterfield Show, Aired February 13th, 1952. Very funny performance - especially the 'Big Final Note' which Lauren 'grabs'!
This is an excerpt from a 1966 LP called 'Bing Crosby and His Pals'. Stereo recording.

Caruso Sings an Aria from Puccini's Tosca for Pathe (Actually Anglo-Italian Commerce Company) in 1903. This is the Only Cylinder Record I have. I don't have any Cylinder players, so I have to take this in the Edison Inventions Museum in Pu-Cheon.

Bronis?aw Huberman (1882.12.19 -- 1947.6.16) was a Polish violinist who was known for his individualistic and personal interpretations, and as the former owner of the legendry Gibson Stradivarius.
Recorded in 1929. Played on my Numark Turntable with NEW Audio-Technica Catridge. The result was absolutely great!

Miliza Korjus (1909.8.18 - 1980.8.20), the divine Lithuanian-Polish Coloratura soprano, sings "Voice of Spring"(composed by Johann Strauss) for HMV in 1929. I have some Korjus' 78s, including "Funiculli-Funiculla ", "Invitation to Waltz", but this is my most favorite one.
Played on my Numark Machine with Amplifier equipment.
