Video duration: 77 seconds This excellent example of Parisian craftsmanship from the height of the Big Band era has an all granadilla body with solid nickel keys. The tone is mellow and deep with not even a hint of brightness. This is a numbered piece, but of professional grade. The pitch standard of middle A at 440 Hz was not set until about 1931 so instruments prior to that used two primary pitches "Low Pitch" with A at 335 Hz and "Concert Pitch" or "Vienna Pitch" with A at 440 Hz.
