Starts with an improvisation based on the lyrical content of the song which is about a grizzly murder and execution in spite of of its sweet introduction scene of the romantic willow garden. a brief sitar demo for my Cirque du Soleil audition. I combined elements from some of my favorite ragas (Chandra Muki Kanada, Sarasvati (Karnatic), Bhimpalasi, etc.) and made up a composition in Jhaptal. Forgive the edits, artful as I tried to make them- it had to be short. But enjoy the sweet tihai at the end and the rasa that will leave you euphoric (hopefully).
